At The Day, we are excited to bring the vision of your special day to life. We work with a variety of vendors and venues, and can assure you that we will create an event that is memorable and meticulously planned, so that the day flows with ease. We are based in Salida, CO, and plan events for the Salida, Chaffee County, & surrounding area, but are always open to discussing a new location to help you plan your day. Whether celebrating a birthday, wedding, or other type of day, we will be with you every step of the way, and able to tackle any surprises that may arise with ease.
Meet The Owner
Blakeley Dent
Blakeley is originally from San Antonio, TX, landing in the beautiful mountain town of Salida, CO after living in a van and traveling the country for a few years. She has extensive experience in many fields of the service industry, and has been planning events for over 15 years. From weddings to fundraisers, music festivals to small gatherings, she has played a role in a large variety of events throughout the country, and into Baja, Mexico as well. With her degree in Interior Design, her passion is making a vision come to life, and working with vendors down to the last detail to create beautiful and unique events for all involved. Her time in both the sales and service industry have taught her how to pivot when necessary, and bring calm to the stress of event planning. She focuses on each event as if it was her own, and will make sure you feel like you are being taken care of by family.
